Thank goodness it’s Thursday! My four day weekend starts now. I am very excited to spend time with my family, catch up on my k-dramas (I recently just got hooked on them AGAIN), reading, blogging and sleep.
My sincerest apologies for being M.I.A. for a while with out any warning. A lot was just going on in my life at that time and of course I had to attend to that first. But not to worry, everything is fine and dandy now.
I am back for good with lots of new content and I am very excited to share it with all of you. So for those of you that stuck around, thank you for your support and for those of you that are new followers, welcome!
It is now December and I still haven’t done any of my Christmas shopping. I totally messed that one up for myself. On one of my previous post, I mentioned how I hated driving; now that feeling will be amplified more than ever. It seems to me that people forget how to drive during the holidays, which drives me totally nuts! I have seen people fight over parking spots. Isn’t Christmas suppose to be the holiday of giving? I am not looking forward to my upcoming shopping trips. I have to make sure I have a solid list of what I need to buy so that I do not spend hours and hours in a crowded mall.
Last week I gave up added sugar – no chocolates, flavored yogurt, basically everything that contains sugar that does not occur naturally within the food itself. I only consumed added sugar when the weekend hit. BUT, I made sure that I treated myself to ONLY a few pieces of milk chocolate, flavored yogurt OR a cookie per a day.
This post is a little different on what I would normally write on here. This is a journal entry style, which I will be doing from time to time – whenever I feel like it.
I have to be honest. I have not gone to the gym ever since spring and it shows. Today, I finally decided to go, with just a little bit of encouragement from my sister. I take that back, I mean A LOT! I have been putting working out in the back burner because…well…there is really no excuse other than my laziness. I have been slacking off in this department of my life and it is time that I pick up the slack.
Sometimes life can just get a little too overwhelming and stressful. One of the things I do in order to alleviate some of the stress is to take some time for myself and do something I enjoy.
I love watching movies and reading books, blogs magazines, etc. Today, I will be treating myself to a movie my boss (she is pretty cool) lent to me. It is called Your Name. I am super excited to watch this. I haven’t watched a japanese animated film in a looooong time. I remember watching Spirited Away when it came out in 2001! I really enjoyed it.
This blog post has been in the back burner for a while now. I am finally posting it. YAY!
About a couple weeks or so ago, I went to a hockey game for the very first time in my life – thanks to my boss. The seats we had were no ordinary seats; they are located on the penthouse level Of Roger’s arena which is formaly called, Club 500.
