Yesterday was a very productive day. I got some laundry done and went grocery shopping with my mom, sisters and baby M; it was a girls day out. I have to admit, I can’t go grocery shopping with out my mom or sisters. If I do, I will be there for hours and hours. Baby M doesn’t like being in the cart (she can only sit there for about 10 minutes). She wants to be out to closely look at the different types of food and wants to help out by “pushing” the cart.
I I love knitted sweaters, beanies and scarves. It is a staple in my closet during the cold months. My love for it is so strong that it has bled through baby M’s closet as well. There is just something about it that feels and looks so homey. In addition, it is also very warm and cozy.
It is now December and I still haven’t done any of my Christmas shopping. I totally messed that one up for myself. On one of my previous post, I mentioned how I hated driving; now that feeling will be amplified more than ever. It seems to me that people forget how to drive during the holidays, which drives me totally nuts! I have seen people fight over parking spots. Isn’t Christmas suppose to be the holiday of giving? I am not looking forward to my upcoming shopping trips. I have to make sure I have a solid list of what I need to buy so that I do not spend hours and hours in a crowded mall.
Last week I gave up added sugar – no chocolates, flavored yogurt, basically everything that contains sugar that does not occur naturally within the food itself. I only consumed added sugar when the weekend hit. BUT, I made sure that I treated myself to ONLY a few pieces of milk chocolate, flavored yogurt OR a cookie per a day.
First of all, I would like to thank Lizzy for nominating me for this award. She is such a sweet girl with awesome light hearted blog post. This is my second award and I am truly grateful for all of you who continuously support my blog and to be recognized for it is just icing on the cake.
This post is a little different on what I would normally write on here. This is a journal entry style, which I will be doing from time to time – whenever I feel like it.
I have to be honest. I have not gone to the gym ever since spring and it shows. Today, I finally decided to go, with just a little bit of encouragement from my sister. I take that back, I mean A LOT! I have been putting working out in the back burner because…well…there is really no excuse other than my laziness. I have been slacking off in this department of my life and it is time that I pick up the slack.
Denim is not only for spring and summer. You can also integrate it into your wardrobe during the fall. All you need to do is layer.
