One of the downside of being a early 20 something mother is not having friends with children (speaking from my experience). Most of my friends are focused on their budding careers, studies and travels. There is definitely no signs (not that I know of or see) of slowing down to have kids of their own at this given moment. If one of them tells me that they are pregnant, then I would be extremely surprised.
This dessert/snack takes me back to my good ol’ childhood. I remember when my parents would take us to a chinese restaurant and I would get super excited because I know that I would get to have almond tofu (jelly). I would eat really fast so that I could go straight to dessert; well, that never really worked out since I had to wait for the rest of my family to finish their meal. Now that I am older, I do not have to wait for my parents to take me to a chinese restaurant to enjoy this delicious almond tofu (jelly). I can make it in the comfort of my own home.
It is officially the first day of fall! Not only will we be seeing a lot of pumpkin spice lattes, cupcakes, muffins, cookies, candles, soap, etc. We will also be seeing and wearing a lot of sweaters, jackets and rain boots to keep us warm and dry this season.
We only have a few days of summer left so I am squeezing in every “summery” outfit I could possibly put on baby M. Soon enough all the sandals and shorts will be put away and won’t be back till next summer.
Have you ever been in a queue to pay for your items and right when it is about your turn you suddenly decide that you no longer need half of the the things you have with you? Well…that was me yesterday at H&M.
Vancouver’s weather has been indecisive lately. One day it would be extremely warm with a cold breeze and then the following day would be quite chilly (cold enough to wear a light cardigan). Due to the weather, I was able to dress baby M using the same denim jacket in the span of two consecutive days with the same outfit theme in mind: Denim on Denim.
One of my favorite things about being a mom is dressing up my little baby M. There are so many possibilities of outfits that you can create that may not look so great on adults, but looks totally cute on a toddler.
