Lush Review : Ickle Baby Bot Bath Bomb

These cute little robot shaped bath bombs from Lush are called Ickle Baby Bot.  They are especially made for kids – hence the name of the product.

According to their website http://www.lush.ca, these bath bombs are infused with essential oils such as lavender, chamomile and sandalwood which are known to be sleep inducing. Because of this feature, I usually use this product as a part of baby M’s bedtime routine.  It is especially helpful when she’s had a long day (running errands with me and going to her mommy and me gymnastics class).

In my opinion, this bath bomb definitely relaxes baby M.  It does not necessarily put her to bed right away,  but it helps her fall asleep faster than she normally would because she is more calm.  Even I feel that way after having a whiff of this bath bomb’s aroma. I also noticed that this bath bomb leaves baby M’s skin feeling extra soft and smooth.

All these benefits comes with a price just like any other consumer goods. These little robots can set you back $4.50 CAD which can add up if you use them everyday. In order to save a little bit of money, I break them in half so that I could use it twice for the price of one.  I think it works just as well and the aroma is much more settle than overpowering.
